I've posted the first release of CouchDb-Ruby on RubyForge. The version number will track the CouchDb version that it's been developed for so it may jump around a little as releases get missed/skipped/etc. If you've been waiting to try out Couch because you didn't feel like messing with all that XML, the CouchDb-Ruby library makes it really easy to get started. Check out API introduction on the CouchWiki or just download the source and read the RubyDocs.
